A raw journal of my experience of starting all over again in my career, home and general life after the breakdown of my relationship and the loss of my mother.
In 2018 my life was set. I had an amazing career, a long term partner who I was planning to have a family with, a home with a cat and a dog; everything I could have wanted….but I wasn’t happy. I decided to quit my job, give away all our stuff and take my partner overseas for a six month adventure that was meant to make us stronger together….
The opposite happened and I arrived back home single, no where to live and the sobering realisation that my mother was dying.
This is the story of how 2019 changed my life forever.
Sometimes life needs to fall apart before it can be put back together.
